Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings at The Poplars, Dyke House Lane, Bromsberrow Heath, Ledbury, Herefordshire HR8 1QY.

Bookings

  • All bookings are made directly with Dan Ritchie by phone or email.
  • A booking is confirmed once agreed in writing (including email).
  • Minimum stay of 2 nights applies to all bookings.
  • Minimum group size of 25 guests applies to standard bookings.

Payment

  • No deposit is required.
  • Full payment is due within 7 days of the end of your stay.
  • Prices are per person per night, based on group size.
  • Children aged 2 years and under stay free.
  • Day visitors are charged at half price.

Cancellations

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking. Cancellation terms will be discussed at the time of booking.

Guest Responsibilities

  • Groups must have their own public liability insurance.
  • Group leaders are responsible for the supervision of all members of their group, particularly children and young people.
  • Groups are responsible for leaving the venue clean and tidy.
  • Any damage to property or equipment must be reported to Dan immediately.

House Rules

  • No smoking on the premises.
  • No candles in any buildings.
  • No fireworks without prior written permission.
  • No food games (flour, eggs, etc.) in or near buildings.
  • No pets.
  • 10:30pm noise curfew for outdoor activities and amplified music.
  • The campfire must be supervised at all times.
  • The campfire site and fire pits must be supervised when in use.

Liability

The Poplars accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during their stay, except where caused by our negligence. Groups use all facilities at their own risk.
